Our story

Chronically Healthy began with a question: How do you rebuild health when life changes completely?

For our founder, Susanne Waldau, that question was personal. After an autoimmune diagnosis, her health shifted dramatically. She wanted to return to her baseline - the version of herself before illness - but the path wasn’t simple.

Susanne approached it the way she knew best: as a project. With a background in project and change management, she applied the same principles she used professionally to her own health: mapping her current state, defining the gap, and creating a roadmap to return to her original baseline.

Through research, she identified four cornerstones: nutrition, movement, sleep, and mindset. These became the foundation of her plan. The results were transformative: an anti-inflammatory diet, a balanced fitness routine, improved sleep, and a mindset strengthened by Stoic principles.

She didn’t just recover. She returned stronger, wiser, and ready to live without compromise.

When Susanne began mentoring others with similar conditions, she saw the same improvements. That experience sparked Chronically Healthy - a company built to make sustainable health possible for everyone. And while some risks are beyond our control, Stoicism teaches that our responses are ours to choose. In practice, that means directing effort toward daily actions we can control and building habits that hold, especially when life is unpredictable.

Chronically Healthy exists to provide that support. We combine science, behaviour, and lived experience to help people build habits that last - not with quick fixes, but with patterns that fit real life.
